StakeholderMAP.png

This project explores how strategic design methods can be applied to re-contextualize an existing social change intervention for a completely different environment. The aim was to identify a transferable process or event with proven impact and thoughtfully adapt it to a new setting—addressing relevant local issues while preserving the essence of the original concept.

Grounded in thorough research and critical analysis, the proposal outlines a practical, human-centered intervention designed to spark tangible, community-driven change. The work was developed using desk research due to time and location constraints, yet it presents a realistic and scalable model that could be implemented with further development. The strategic approach focuses on identifying key stakeholders, understanding systemic barriers, and designing an inclusive framework for action. This project demonstrates how design thinking can serve as a catalyst for social transformation, capable of shifting behaviors, narratives, and structures—even across differing geographic and cultural contexts.

This project proposal was developed as part of the Design for Social Change - Strategy course at Aalto University’s Department of Art and Design.
